Totara Learn Tag Restriction Plugin

I developed this project as part of my professional internship. Unfortunately, due to contractual confidentiality guidelines, I cannot make this project publicly available. 

On the learning platform there is a catalog where all courses are visible. One or more tags can be assigned to each course. Tags could be for example food, sports or leisure. With the help of a filter in the catalog, the courses that have a tag can be displayed.

The plugin now allows to assign one or more target groups to each tag. The filter in the course catalog now only shows the tags that match the target group of the user and the tag. My tasks here were to check for feasibility, plan and then implement the plugin.
